Nickel

Nickel is supplied as Class 1 material, meaning full plate cathode and briquettes at 99.8% purity, deliverable against LME contracts and suitable for battery precursor production, and as Class 2 material such as ferronickel and nickel pig iron for stainless steelmaking. The two classes are not interchangeable and are priced differently.

We appoint an independent inspection agency at origin. They check quantity, quality against what was contracted, and the condition of the packaging, all before the shipment is released for loading. That certificate is what any later claim rests on.
